CPT Changes tab
The Code Detail pane now features a CPT Changes tab that allows you to access any of the publications related to CPT changes by clicking the link under the Page column. This feature is an optional add-on and is not included in the standard package. For more information, please reach out to your Vitalware contact.

Option to print notes
The Print PDF Details popup now features a Notes option, allowing you to print a PDF of any notes featured in the Notes tab on the Code Detail pane.

New Features and Enhancements
Subscribe to Vital Alerts
You can now subscribe to alerts for Vital Alerts via the Dashboard.
- Select your username in the top right-hand corner on the Vitalware Dashboard.
- Select Manage Profile from the dropdown.
- Click the My Alerts tab.
- Select the toggle for the department whose alerts you want to view in the Vital Alerts tab.
- Click the Save Changes button.
- View the alerts you're subscribed to in the Subscribed tab, and view the alerts you're not subscribed to in the Not Suscribed tab.

I/OCE Specifications manual added to Library
TheI/OCE Specifications manual is now available in the Library tab, so you no longer have to search for it on the CMS website.
Offset APC tab
The new Offset APC tab is the Offset HCPCS and Offset Code Pair tabs combined into one. See the May 15, 2025 VitalKnowledge release for more information.

New tabs for offset data
The offset data is no longer featured in the APC tab on the Code Detail pane, and it is now available in the new Offset HCPCS and Offset Code Pair tabs.
ICD-10 Conversion tab
The Code Detail pane now features the ICD-10 Conversion tab, allowing you to view the ICD-10 conversion tables.
Polices (LCD/Articles) update
The states are now listed in alphabetical order in the Policies (LCD/Articles) section of the Library. This makes it easier to find the state you need.

The updated Search pane in Code Validate now features a smoother and concise interface, making it less cluttered and easier to use.

Vital alerts now remain in place after you click a hyperlink. Previously, the vital alert would reset.

You can now add up to three modifiers in Code Validate. Previously, you could only add up to two modifiers.

Updated default tab for charge code links
When you click a charge code in the CDM Code column while viewing the Linked Items, Unlinked Items, or Corporate Standard Variance reports, it now defaults to opening the Linked Items tab on the Code Detail pane.

Maintain position in the HCPCS Index tab
When you select codes in the HCPCS Index tab, it now maintains your position in the index. Previously, the index would scroll to the top after you selected a code.
National SAF percentiles in the ASC Peer Pricing tab
The ASC Peer Pricing tab now features the SAF 10, SAF 25, SAF 50, SAF 75, and SAF 90 columns. This allows you to see SAF national peer pricing percentiles, similar to the FAC Peer Pricing tab.

HCPCS Index tab codes highlighted
Selected codes in the HCPCS Index tab now remain highlighted. This makes it easier to find the code you selected, especially if it's in a large list of other codes.
Code Validate updates
Selected codes in the HCPCS Index tab now remain highlighted. This makes it easier to find the code you selected, especially if it's in a large list of other codes.
Furthermore, Code Validate also now features an Age field that automatically updates the year in the DOB field.

VitalKnowledge session expiration update
If you are automatically logged out of VitalKnowledge due to inactivity, you can now return to your exact state in VitalKnowledge when you log back in within 6 hours of being logged out.
