VitalCDM - April 02, 2026
New Features and Enhancements
New Change History Dashboard
The new Change History dashboard within the History tab allows you to view a breakdown of the type of changes and the volume of changes across the entities and CDM files you have access to. See Change History Dashboard for further details on how to navigate the Change History dashboard. This feature is available at no cost but does require the module to be enabled. If interested, reach out to your Vitalware administrator for more information.
ADDs in reconcile removed if added via request
ADDs that are in reconcile are now negated if the item is added via a request before reconciliation for that same item is completed. This prevents users from having conflicting sources for the creation of the item and makes the item's history clearer.
Updated options for requests for CDM files without routes
The option to create or change a request is no longer available when a CDM file doesn't have an assigned route, which is required for a request. This update helps you better identify a CDM file without routes and prevents you from unsuccessfully creating a request.
Partial imports without disconnecting cost center relationships
Users with cost center based files can now import partial associated cost center CDM files and have them treated as partial to fix errors without inadvertently removing cost center associations or loading full files each time.

VitalCDM - March 19, 2026
New Features and Enhancements
The Reconcile Log Detail report now includes accepted changes
You can now use the Reconcile Log Detail report to view all updates and non-updates that were impacted during the reconcile process for the date range you've selected, as opposed to only being able to view line items that featured fields or rows that were rejected during the reconcile process. This prevents you from having to piece together the Change Detail report and Reconcile Log Detail report to better understand changes made during the selected data range.
New Attach File When Approved option
When you are adding attachments to multiple line items in the Request tab, you can now mark an attachment with "Attach File When Approved" for all of the items you added while adding attachments to multiple line items at once. This prevents you from having to navigate into each individual item and add the approved attachments one at a time.
View the item count for the Missing Primary/Add-On report
You can now see the item count when viewing the Analysis Summary for the Missing Primary/Add-On report, featured in the Number of Items with Missing Primary/Add-On Codes row.
NOTE: The VitalCDM team is going to keep the old count present (not as a link) for a transition period of at least 3 months to allow time for the users to collect data points for the new item count.

New Features and Enhancements
Update for managing departments
A Department ID column is now available for Admin users in VitalCDM settings. This ID is an internal Vitalware assigned ID, and it can now be displayed. Previously, the Department ID was only available via an export of the departments.

VitalCDM - February 19, 2026
New Features and Enhancements
Missing Primary/Add On Codes report export update
The export of the Missing Primary/Add-On Codes report now features a Charge Number column, which indicates if one of the suggested charge codes is already built into your CDM. The Charge Number column displays charge codes as shown in the display of the Missing Primary/Add-On Codes report in VitalCDM. This allows you to easily determine if any of the charge codes already exist. If a charge code does already exist, you may need to reactivate it.
